Fall in Love with your Family Picture

One of my favorite  families to photograph!

After weeks of high humidity it's finally nice to have comfortable weather.  The areas around us look beautiful as the leaves change.  September, October and even November are one of the best times to have your family picture take outdoors.

I just love her natural smile!

Like I have done for the past 13 years, when taking a family portrait, I do a few group poses from traditional to casual.  Then I will take the children together, mom and dad together and then individual pictures of the kids.  You do not have to purchase all of the combinations we take, but it's better to have them taken than not.

We all know he didn't want to be here, but we made him feel at ease, moved quickly, and got a great picture.

It's important to have pictures as your family grows and changes.  It's ok to have pictures with their braces on or with a few pimples.  That's what they looked like at that age and it's ok to remember it.  This family has their family picture taken every so many years.  How nice years from now that they can look back and see how they changed.

She loves to be casual and throw her hair around and I think this picture shows her just fine.

By doing a family picture in the fall, you can use it as your Holiday card.  This family did just that, it was their Christmas card last year.  We designed a two-sided card with the family picture on the front and the 3 individual children photos on the back.  Our cards are so well made that clearly you can see the difference in quality from Shutterfly cards to our cards.  Hopefully you will take the time and have a picture of your family taken this Fall.
